Goodbye Shoebuy, hello Shoes.com.

Shoes.com was due for a refresh. In 2017, Shoes.com experienced a 60% increase in mobile and tablet traffic, in addition to their 40% growth on desktop. This eCommerce giant needed to update and adapt to their customers’ shopping habits.
The first step in the Shoe.com site redesign was tackling their homepage. We wanted to leverage the strong imagery from seasonal photoshoots, engaging storytelling, and a variety of premium brands and styles with a modern look and feel. After researching the customer demographics and user patterns, I created multiple (hundreds, in fact) low fidelity wireframes to test in focus groups.
Responsive mobile design facilitates customer’s shopping experience and seamlessly transitions from browsing, to adding to a cart, to purchasing a new pair of shoes.
